I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Now is time to start losing weight. I know some of you are saying, "but we haven't finished eating the leftovers from Christmas to say the least about New Year being just around the corner." I am fully aware of that, so stick with me. I'm not going to leave you out there defenseless and I am aware that we are about to approach the new year. I'm simply saying let's not mess around and wait for the new year. Let's get started now! We need to start with listing our reasons for and the benefits that we will derive from losing weight. I like to call them my "Why List." In other words you need a reason for losing weight that will keep you on track with your goal in spite of the difficulties that will come your way. Let me lay this out for you like this.

- WATB: What are the benefits?
- HWIBYP: How will it benefit you physically?
- HWIBYS: How will it benefit you emotionally/spiritually?
- HWIBYF: How will it benefit you financially?
